Sobanic Foundation Ltd in Uganda

Sobanic Foundation Ltd in Uganda (SBF) is a community-based, non-profit organization established in Kasese in 2025 by a group of friends who share common values, background, and development goals. Our members are largely Ugandans and Somalis, united by a shared vision of community development and social inclusion.

We work to support orphans, vulnerable children, people with disabilities, women, youth, and the elderly, especially within our areas of operation in Kasese Municipality.

Our Vision

To promote the rights and responsibilities of Somalis and Ugandans, enabling them to live balanced lives while promoting equity, fairness, and unity within the community.

Our Mission

To empower members through poverty alleviation projects, improved agricultural practices, environmental conservation, and economic self-reliance.

Our Key Programs

We work closely with our community to address real needs and create lasting change.  Through our programs, we aim to empower communities, promote self-reliance, and improve the quality of life for all.

We support community members to improve their income through small business activities. These include poultry keeping and other income generating projects.

We offer vocational skills training to refugees and community members. Training includes welding, tailoring, computer skills, motor vehicle repair, electrical.

We supports refugee children and other vulnerable learners to access education. We help with school needs such as fees, scholastic materials.
